About the Author:  Lanin D. Thómasma is a transplant to the Ozarks. A native Michigander, Lanin spent 13 years in Europe with Covenant Players, an international Christian drama ministry. It was there that he met and married his wife, Jean. After returning to the States, Lanin and Jean eventually moved back to Jean's home town of Steelville, MO. Now, Lanin is the owner and proprietor of Art & Joe, an espresso bar and art showcase on Steelville's Main Street.
