Old School Sweet Cornbread Mix

An inexpensive staple, making cornbread from corn meal was common during the 1800's. Sweet cornbread is always welcome on any table. Old School Mill uses fresh milled stone ground corn meal and wheat flour as key ingredients in this sweet cornbread mix. Today stone ground white corn, grown on Old School Mill's family farm, is used to create this Cornbread Mix. Follow a simple recipe with staples from your pantry (eggs, milk, oil, sugar) to make a delicious pan of Corn Bread, or dress it up by adding jalapenos, pumpkin, broccoli, or your choice of flavor ingredients.

Old school brand™ sweet cornbread 1 bag sweet cornbread mix.

1 cup buttermilk or milk. 2 eggs.

1/3 cup vegetable oil.

Preheat oven to 375°f. In a medium bowl, combine cornbread mix, milk, eggs, and oil. Stir to mix. Pour into well greased 9″x9″ pan or large skillet and place in oven. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Yield: 8-10 servings.
